We’re not sure how ya found us, but we’re glad
ya did.
BunBob Ventures, LLC is made up of a husband and
wife team, Bobby and Diana (aka Bun...a nickname given by Bobby). Yup. That’s
right. We work together, eat together, watch TV together...basically, just do
everything together...24/7, 365 days a year. Thus...our Warrior themed website design.
Sometimes, just sometimes...we are at war against each other! Designing is hard work
and when you get two strong willed, creative minds together, a battle sometimes
ensues.
Huh? What’s that?
Oh...you want to know if we ever get tired of
being around each other so much? Umm, again the logo was created for a reason.
However, give us a little credit will ya? We haven’t been and STAYED married this long
by only battling each other. Every once in a while we do agree on a design right from
the start. Although rare, this does happen.
So, here’s a little info on us. Bobby is
the creative mind of our little team, a lover of art and anything creative, while
Diana...that’s me, aka Bun...is the brains of the whole operation (guess who wrote
this?). It has taken us years...seriously, years...to work out all the kinks of being
married and working together...you know, boundaries, keeping business life separate from
personal life, all the important stuff...but, in the end, have finally learned to accept our
different work styles and appreciate what we each bring to the business table. In the
past, neither one of us would bend when it came to business. It was either Bobby’s way
(which Bobby says it was never his way...waa waa) or Diana’s way (which Bobby says it was
always Diana’s way...umm, no). Either way, compromise wasn’t something we exercised in
business. Needless to say a whole lot of arguing usually ensued. Again, needless
to say, this tactic definitely did not work. Ahh, but now we’re able to come together,
recognize our strengths and weaknesses and make it work to our advantage. Yay!
Although, sometimes the masks do have to be adorned and a battle ensues.
We’ve tried many, many different business
ventures over the years. We’ve opened and closed up shop numerous times now.
We’ve learned a lot of things the hard way. And, at times, the really, really hard
way. Life and business has literally kicked our butts over the years. And yet we
still persist. We still believe and we will continue to seek the life we want.

And

"There is no try...only Do or Do Not!" - Yoda (don't tell Bobby...he
thinks Yoda is real.)
Now, we’re not saying we didn’t lose a little
enthusiasm and belief along the way. It’s pretty hard not to when you close a business
you believed in. But I like the words of that Mr. Sir Winston Churchill. I
personally believe that you only fail when you stop trying...but hey, that’s just me.

Today, after years of much needed therapy, we’re
headed in the right direction. That direction being whatever we decide we want our
lives to be. We’ve been tested, tried and we’re still here. Together we’ve been
through many hardships...financial (it sucks closing a business), health (Bobby is a cancer
survivor), raising a daughter (a true blessing but c’mon, raising a kid pushes every human
boundary that exists) and your usual relationship stuff.
We’ve both worked your typical 9 to 5 job and
each of us really didn’t like it. Bobby has always been an Entrepreneur at heart.
Me? Not so much. I kinda liked knowing a paycheck was coming in every
month. The masks were an every day occurrence back then. But that is not who I am
today. That was ages ago. I can actually say that I, too, am an
Entrepreneur.
So, together, we’ve embraced our Entrepreneurial
spirit. We make our living by owning and operating websites and blogs. We are
also in the design business...you know, we design
websites, blogs, logos and marketing materials for anyone that will hire us. We work hard, take pride
in and love what we do. We don’t use a lot of fluff to get new clients...instead, the
tactic we rely on is our charm and good sense of humor. We tend to lean
toward a casual business relationship with our clients.
Professional...yes. Stuffy...no.
So
again, our logo represents the fight and struggle that we, as a small business, go through day
in and day out. Sometimes we have to become over aggressive warriors and go to battle. For the both of us, it is usually against
each other. Trust me (Bobby), Bun's spear is sharp and she usually goes for
the Jugular! Luckily, I'm quick like a Shark and usually evade her fury!
